This hyper-realistic design imitates gobies, the most common prey for zander and perch in European rivers and lakes. Gunnar can be combined with all modern bottom fishing techniques for zander and perch. The rigged version (R2F) is ready to fish and ideal for slow jigging with quick starts along the bottom. The super sharp hook tip, embedded in a lead-free stand-up harness, is also covered by the dorsal fin to act as a weed guard. Gunnar imitates the typical swimming movement of a real goby, gliding easily between rocks and always landing on the super flexible pectoral fins, just like a real fish, in a 'hook up' position, perfectly positioned to be swallowed by a hungry predator.

Hook size is denoted by a number. The higher the number, the smaller the hook. Size 30 is a tiny hook, 4 is significantly larger. If there’s a zero after, e.g., 2/0, it’s even bigger. The higher the number before the zero, the larger the hook. We have a range from the smallest hook, size 30, to our largest, 18/0.
