The hook is an extremely important component in fly fishing. In addition to choosing the right hook model, the hook should be the correct size and, of course, razor-sharp.
We have a large assortment of fly tying hooks, from small dry fly hooks to large pike flies. The size is denoted by a number. The higher the number, the smaller the fish hook. Size 14 is a small hook, 4 is considerably larger. If there is a zero after it, e.g., 2/0, it is even larger. The higher the number before the zero, the larger the hook.
