Savage Gear Alpha SG2 Jerk Casting Rod

Savage Gear Alpha SG2 Jerk is specially developed for jerkbait fishing and offers perfect balance, maximum lure control, and reliable power. With fast actions and stiff yet responsive blanks, these rods provide outstanding feel and control – whether you are fishing with classic jerkbaits or heavier glidebaits.

The full rear EVA handle provides a secure grip and high comfort during active fishing, while the responsive blank ensures you feel the slightest contact without risking lost fish, line breaks, or straightened hooks. The rods have substantial power for secure hooksets and controlled playing of large pike.

Built from 24+30T High Modulus Carbon and equipped with SeaGuide CCS stainless steel guides with SiN rings and Double Lock reel seats, the Alpha SG2 Jerk is robust, precise, and ready for hard use – straight out of the bag.
