The belly features "ribs" that give the lure a natural walk on the surface and also provide good protection for easy swimming over grass and dense vegetation, just the right weight to pull over and through vegetation to catch big perch and pike. Hook size is denoted by a number. The higher the number, the smaller the hook. Size 30 is a tiny hook, 4 is significantly larger. If there’s a zero after, e.g., 2/0, it’s even bigger. The higher the number before the zero, the larger the hook. We have a range from the smallest hook, size 30, to our largest, 18/0.
