Description

If you really want to get your topwater fishing going, you should check out the Screamin' Choppo – Berkley's bold upgrade of the classic plopper. Everything here is tuned to stand out: a sharp metal-on-metal sound, the well-known Choppo tail spray, and a continuous action that screams "here I am!". This is the lure that makes pike lose it – and delivers those heart-stopping surface strikes we never forget.

  • Upgraded topwater action: classic Choppo performance with an extra layer of sound profile
  • High volume with a purpose: the tail is shaped to amplify every splash and vibration
  • Turn up the chaos: the rivet sleeve and metal tail grind against each other, creating the Screamin' sound that fish find hard to ignore
  • Built to last: the cupped tail keeps its shape and won't warp in the sun or in a warm tackle box
  • Runs straight at many speeds – without tipping or rolling over
  • Fusion19™ hooks: supplied with razor-sharp Fusion19™ treble hooks
  • Complement to the original: Screamin' Choppo™ adds more sound for slow days or pressured waters where a different tone makes a difference

Hook size (multi)

Hook size is denoted by a number. The higher the number, the smaller the hook. Size 30 is a tiny hook, 4 is significantly larger. If there’s a zero after, e.g., 2/0, it’s even bigger. The higher the number before the zero, the larger the hook. We have a range from the smallest hook, size 30, to our largest, 18/0.
