Great Heron was designed according to Finnish lure traditions. It was created and tested in collaboration with experienced anglers from Finland and Sweden. Right from the start, it was clear that Great Heron was a highly effective lure – not only for salmon and trout, but also for species such as asp and perch. Great Heron can be fished both fast and slow – regardless of speed, the lure has a natural swimming action that triggers strikes. It is perhaps no wonder that Great Heron has become one of the most popular lures in Scandinavia!

Hook size is denoted by a number. The higher the number, the smaller the hook. Size 30 is a tiny hook, 4 is significantly larger. If there’s a zero after, e.g., 2/0, it’s even bigger. The higher the number before the zero, the larger the hook. We have a range from the smallest hook, size 30, to our largest, 18/0.
