MOB+™ has set a new standard for both simplicity and technology when it comes to wireless kill switches. MOB+™ is designed to deliver 100% reliability while ensuring the engine shuts down immediately after the user falls overboard.
The system and this base package consist of two components, an xHUB™ and an xFOB™ that communicate with each other via the WiMEA protocol.
The xHUB™ is the base unit that is easily installed on the boat, and the xFOB unit is what the driver always carries, whether it's with a wristband, attached to a life jacket, or hanging around the neck. The xFOB has a standard button cell battery that provides 300 hours of battery life. The unit's battery status is indicated on the xHUB, and it also warns when it reaches 10%.
Generation 2 of MOB+ has the ability to connect up to 4 xFOBs. Each xFOB and person or animal gets their own indication of status on the xHUB unit. The first one to activate serves as the stop unit, and the others are alarm units.
