Illex Pompadour is an astonishing surface lure! It imitates creatures that move across the surface film of water, from frogs to reptiles or even small rodents. The lure is fitted with two blades which alternate the direction of swim and a small blade on the rear of the body which adds turbulence to the wake of the lure. A rattle system adds a noise attraction to the lure and a weight transfer system to help accuracy and distance when casting. The hooks are also positioned in such a way as to reduce hook pulls. Particularly effective on bass and pike the Pompadour will take any predator hunting in the upper layers of the water.
