Good and affordable fishing rods

In our range of fishing rods, you will find rods for all types of fishing situations. We also have rods in various price ranges so that the new fisherman can find good rods that are not too expensive, and the avid sport fisherman can find that special rod designed for a specific fishing situation. We have fishing rods for all types of sport fishermen!

Choosing the right fishing rod

When buying a fishing rod, you should primarily look at the rod's length and casting weight. These two factors determine which baits and what kind of fishing the rod is suited for, and this also dictates which reel should be matched with the rod. If you want an all-round rod that works for most types of Swedish fishing, we recommend a spinning rod that is 8? long and has a casting weight of about 10-30g.

In our range, there are also spin rods, ice fishing and tip-up rods, pole rods, fly rods, and all other types of fishing rods.

Three tips for you when buying your first fishing rod:

  • Remember to remove the plastic from the handle. It is not uncommon for people to want to keep the plastic on to protect the nice handle, but then there is a risk that moisture will get underneath the plastic and damage the handle.
  • Be careful with the top ring. The top ring is the rod ring that is situated at the far end of the rod and because of its placement, it is very easy to hit. Inside most rod rings, there is a ceramic inner ring which is quite fragile. If a crack appears in this ring, the line will be cut when you try to cast. If the ring breaks, you can buy a repair kit.
  • Extend the lifespan of your rods by storing them correctly. With a rod cover or rod strap, you can store and transport your rods in a convenient and safe way. Your fishing rods are also ready to be quickly brought out when it's time to fish.
