Daiwa 23 Fuego LT Spinning reel combines components from the new Airdrive Design with LT reel design and the Magsealed construction that effectively prevents saltwater and dirt from entering via the shaft, significantly extending the reel's lifespan.
The new Airdrive rotor reduces weight in the front of the reel and shifts the balance towards the lower part of the reel, providing better overall balance and increased sensitivity when fishing. They also reduce start-up resistance during retrieval, improving control while fishing, increasing sensitivity, and enhancing lure control.
The new Airdrive brake is lighter than before, extremely durable, and significantly reduces the risk of line twist in combination with the new line roller.
The powerful and tough Digigear mechanism operates smoothly and is mounted in the reel body made of Zaion V material for strength and lightness.
The Twistbuster III design at the line roller is perfect for use with braided lines. It ensures that the braid does not compress on the rotor during retrieval, resulting in less line twisting.
The new ATD Type-L drag ensures smooth and optimized line release under load without high start-up resistance.
Handle Knob:
- Sizes 1000D to 2000 and 2500-XH come with an I-shaped handle knob.
- Sizes 2500D, 3000-C, 3000-CXH, 3000D-C, and 4000-CP have a T-shaped handle knob.
- Sizes 4000D-CX, 5000-C, and 6000D have a larger (L-size) T-shaped handle knob.
