Bushman insect repellent was developed in the 1980s by Tom Bethurem, an Australian chemist living in the northern swamplands of Australia, notorious for extremely tough mosquito and insect conditions. Bushman was tested and improved over many years in these extreme conditions to ensure maximum protection and high effectiveness. Since Bushman was introduced to the Australian and New Zealand markets in the early 1990s, it has been one of the most effective insect repellents on the market.
