Wiggler has improved the 2018 success of the Halibut Float Kit. With the line release placed on the underside of the float, the Halibut Float now stands perfectly upright, making it more visible. The small bait hook has also been replaced with a larger and sturdier one, making it easier to attach the Halibut Float. When you rig the Halibut Float on the line, the bait hook should be positioned under the line release for optimal function.

If you are fishing at a depth of 30 meters or shallower and the current is weak, we recommend the 300 g kit. If you are fishing deeper than 30 meters or in strong currents, we recommend the 500 g kit.

Hook size is denoted by a number. The higher the number, the smaller the hook. Size 30 is a tiny hook, 4 is significantly larger. If there’s a zero after, e.g., 2/0, it’s even bigger. The higher the number before the zero, the larger the hook. We have a range from the smallest hook, size 30, to our largest, 18/0.
